Refinishing

Sanded, repaired and refinished

Existing hardwood is sanded, repaired where boards are damaged, stained if a color change is wanted, and finished with the appropriate number of coats.

Refinishing keeps the floor you already own and is often the right option when the wood is sound.

Sanding

The existing finish and the top layer of wood are taken back with the sander.

Board repair

Boards that are damaged are repaired or replaced before the floor is finished.

Stain

Color is applied if a change of color is wanted.

Finish coats

The floor is finished with the appropriate number of coats for the product.
